Undergraduate Researchers Present Findings at Upcoming Poster Sessions

This summer, our Population Biology of Infectious Diseases REU site welcomed 13 students from across the United States, providing research experiences at the intersection of quantitative & experimental studies in infectious disease biology. Students developed projects emphasizing experimentation, computational and mathematical modeling, and synthesis projects combining empirical research and modeling. 2019 projects included studies on the relationship between vaccine dose and outcomes, analyses of water quality in relation to deteriorating water infrastructure, explorations into how environmental conditions affect the distribution and dynamics of mosquito-borne diseases, and more. We invite you to join as for two culminating poster sessions, in which REU students will present their findings.
