CEID Membership
If you are an undergrad research student, graduate student, postdoc, faculty member, or scientist interested in working with the Center for the Ecology of Infectious Diseases at The University of Georgia, we welcome membership inquiries at ceid@uga.edu.
Membership is granted by a majority vote of the CEID advisory committee. Individuals interested in membership should send the following to ceid@uga.edu with the subject “CEID Membership”:
- Brief statement of interest describing why you believe you are good fit for CEID membership, and how you plan to engage with CEID research and events
- Current CV
- List of research interests
CEID members are anticipated to actively participate in CEID events. While most events are open to the public, CEID members have voting privileges on matters concerning CEID priorities and activities, and their research is often featured on our website, social media, and in our newsletter.
Members are asked to list CEID as a secondary affiliation on any thematically relevant publications, and to keep their membership active through participation in events or ongoing research.
